Pu Guang Temple
On March 15th, 2009, I was lucky enough to be granted permission to record the chanting at Pu Guang Temple at 1261 Harrison Street, where people practice Pure Light Buddhism. The ceremony was in celebration of the 15th day of the lunar calendar, and it lasted for almost three hours. Afterward the monks gave my friend and I way more food than we could possibly eat. In this excerpted piece from the full recording, you will hear Ven Zhi Guang leading the ceremony through a microphone.
