Cody Duane Ahmad Potter
Cody Duane Ahmad Potter, a West Sacramento resident, grew up in Southern California to Indiana parents. He got involved in labor unions while at UC Santa Cruz in 2002 during one of the first strikes that shut the campus down. Soon after that, he helped AFSCME 3299 unionize his own workplace and make it way better-- deprivatizing the UCSC dining halls and booting the world's largest food contractor Sodexho off the campus. He likes food justice, anti-imperialism, soccer, and economic justice and really enjoyed working on Oakland 1946-- his first time as an official performer since being 4th grade class president.
